Seated Horses is founded with the intention to focus on works which utilize found materials, assemblage, waste, and ephemera. Explored relationships between freshness and decomposition, obliteration and resurrection. The project will also include performance, readings, and activations. The aim is to be a continual spot for artists to push new areas of their practice and for emerging artists to launch into the wider world of the LA art scene.

Vivien Ebright Chung is a painter and curator living in Los Angeles. She is also the co founder of False Cast Gallery. Seated Horses is where she helps people hang stuff on a wall, place it on the ground, and feel very good about it.
